Conexus will be working over the next 12 months to implement VisioCheck in all 25 Richmond City elementary schools to reach nearly 4,000 kindergarten and 3rd grade students. This project serves to compliment the MEDARVA-funded WHEELS program, which already supports vision programs for students enrolled in Richmond City’s Virginia Pre-school Initiative programs. The support of the Jenkins Foundation is an important step towards making VisioCheck available in public schools across Virginia. Conexus is honored to have been selected as a grantee of the Jenkins Foundation, and looks forward to reporting on the good work in our community.
