Both boards voted unanimously to merge PBMA to Conexus effective December 1, 2014. This marks the end of a nearly two-year process for PBMA and sets the wheels in motion for Conexus to officially move forward on behalf of children’s vision in the region and even the nation. The very engaged group, chaired by the energetic Julie Bragg, WTVR 6 evening anchor, was charged with the task of supporting the branding and communication efforts of Conexus. A powerful brainstorming session resulted in some exciting strategic efforts to be tied in with several upcoming events – especially our holiday giving campaign, The Gift of Light. We are fortunate to have some of the area’s most experienced and seasoned professionals join the committee and look forward to sharing more information in the weeks to come! |
