![]() It was a cold evening…after hours and after dark when there was a knock on the door at the Conexus office. It was a teacher from a local school division trying to assist one of her students in getting glasses. Her 3rd grade student had been issued glasses last year, but they were now broken. The teacher knew that every day without glasses created a learning challenge for her student. She knew that her student simply couldn’t learn what she couldn’t see and she took action. Stories like these are very familiar to Conexus, and they are why we are so dedicate to our mission of eliminating undetected and untreated vision problems as barriers to success in school and life. Good vision is so often overlooked as a component to success in school, but our teachers who work with students day in and day out see and understand the link between good vision and success in the classroom. |
