Kroger has teamed up with Conexus for the 5th straight year as a major sponsor for the Conexus Golf Classic. Conexus is privileged to partner with some of Richmond’s best known businesses who are committed to building better futures for our children. Thank you Kroger for another great year!
The Conexus Scholarship Fund was established to allow us to bring affordable vision programs to as many students as possible. As a result, Conexus opened its first ever application process to more than 90 select school divisions in Virginia, giving them an opportunity to secure VisioCheck programming for their students for the upcoming 2016/2017 school year. The application process closed at the end of March, and the response has been incredible. We will work to accommodate as many requests as possible; awards will be announced later this week.
Conexus received a gift from the Coleman Hunter Charitable Trust as a match to the outstanding Cabell Foundation challenge award. The Coleman Hunter gift moves Conexus one step closer to finalizing the $114,500 match, with just a little over $19,000 still pending. Conexus is eager to close the gap and secure the much needed funding to purchase additional equipment, software, and technology upgrades and finalize the last few items on the renovations of the Conexus headquarters. If you are interested in making a donation to the Capital fund, please contact Tim Gresham at Tim@ConexusVision.org.
