Over 220 guests gathered on Thursday, March 19th to support Ed Greene as he was honored by Prevent Blindness America for his lifetime of service to the vision community. Ed’s impact on the industry was evidenced by those who spoke on his behalf, highlighting his valued friendship and caring and compassionate style of leadership and management that has shaped his tremendously successful career. Conexus is blessed to have Ed as a friend and a leader to our organization, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to share in the milestone celebration.
Exciting news… thanks to our tournament planning committee and early sponsors, the June 8th tournament already has 24 committed teams-meaning we’re nearing the halfway mark for another sell out event!! We are looking forward to the warm weather and hosting our guests for another exceptional day at Hermitage Country Club. While the snowy, wintry weather has wreaked havoc on school schedules, the W.H.E.E.L.S. program is going strong and is in the process of making up for lost screening time. Currently, all of our screenings that were affected by the winter weather have been rescheduled for this spring. Thanks to all of our partners for your flexibility and patience!
Hopefully tomorrow’s weather forecast will be a farewell to the winter of 2015!!
Our W.H.E.E.L.S. partners are the best, and comments like these keep making our day!
“We love what you (W.H.E.E.L.S.) do and think it’s a wonderful resource for our students!”
