“I am so thankful for this service. Having the vision screenings done saves me valuable time and allows me to focus on other pertinent health services provided by my clinic. I have seen the impact it has had on my students, and parents are more likely to follow up with a doctor after receiving an official screening result as opposed to the screening that I do. Thank you so much for providing this service to our County.”                                      A Tri-Cities School Nurse

87% of our school nurse partners in the Tri-Cities said their students report to them improved school performance following vision correction!

The Coleman Hunter Trust joined a growing list of supporters to Conexus Kids 20/20 Campaign.  Funds raised for the campaign are applied to a range of organizational activities designed to expand Conexus’ VisioCheck programs statewide with a level of more long term sustainability.  VisioCheck is consistently finding the rate of undetected and untreated vision problems to be higher than the national average in some of our most economically challenged communities and in schools with the lowest levels of academic success.  80% of what a child learns in school is through vision, making good vision a critical component to learning.  Supporters of the Kids 20/20 Campaign partners in eliminate poor vision as a barrier to school success.
